The circular bushed design allows the bezel to take centerstage. The black and gold design is an extension of the design of the dial. The knurled edges of the bezel allow the wearer to easily rotate the unidirectional bezel. The position of the screw down crown at 3 o’clock also remains true to the original design of the 62MAS. The double domed sapphire crystal glass offers both durability and legibility, as it has been finished with an anti-reflective coating. On the flip side, there is a screw down case back which allows for greater protection against water. The Dial: This modern reinterpretation of Seiko’s first professional orientated dive watch offers greater visibility through a distinctive brushed bronze design. Seiko’s peerless level of craftsmanship is present through the rectangular markers, which stand out against the bronze dial due to their polished gilt finish, which gives the watch an opulent feel. The Functions: 6R35 caliber automatic movement powers this timepiece, it also offers hacking and hand winding. Hacking is a function where the second hand stops once the crown is pulled out, allowing for precise timing once the crown is pushed in.
