Apart from being used as a drainage layer, MONOPON can also be mixed with soil to loosen it and improve soil aeration, protecting against compaction. It is also an excellent alternative to conventional expanded clay, which carries a high CO? load. The non-fertilised formula allows the plant to be fertilised as needed or combined with pre-fertilised substrate.
