However, carbon steel has a low resistance to corrosion by moisture, it requires precautions for use: do not leave your knife wet. Do not put in the dishwasher. Wipe the blade with a tack cloth after use and grease the often and its joint. Beech is the most commonly used wood for the manufacture of Opinel handles. From France, this beech is hard, durable and easy to work. With a homogeneous appearance, its light color varies from yellow to pink.
