Product Description

The Pro Froster is an adjustable cake scraper that enables easy application of frosting and buttercream. With this scraper, you can create ultra-clean and sharp edges to a professional standard. It's never been quicker or easier to get perfect results. The Pro Froster can frost up to 8" high cakes, both round and square tiers. It's a must-have addition to your baking tool collection. You'll wonder how you ever coped before! Made from FDA plastic, this scraper is strong, durable and dishwasher safe. It's also available in Pink or Blue. Please note, that it is advised to use a silicone or plastic, non-abrasive spatula to remove excess buttercream to avoid damaging the Pro Froster. What can I use with The Pro Froster? The Pro Froster is the holy grail of cake decorating right now, ideal for frosting with royal icing, buttercream, ganache, fresh cream and more. Can I use The Pro Froster on square cakes? The Pro Froster can frost both round and square tiers, ensuring crisp and clean edges. You’ll wonder how you ever coped before! Will The Pro Froster work for tall cakes? The Pro Froster can frost up to 8″ high cakes, both round and square tiers, so it’s perfect for larger tiers and double-barrelled cakes. How do I assemble? It’s as easy as 1,2,3. See images for step-by-step instructions. Approximate Measurements:The scraping surface is a little over 8" high (approx. 8 1/8" and 5" across). How To Use: **You must slide it on from the TOP, otherwise, you will cause stress and damage to the tool** The Bar is the tall piece and the Riser is the small blade. Widen the gap of the Riser by using your thumb to open it. With the thumb pushing open, slide the Riser onto the Bar from the top. Allow the Riser to snap into the pins of the Bar at the desired height. Make sure that the Bar fits neatly into the groove of the Riser. After doing your crumb coat, apply frosting to the cake with an offset spatula. Set The ProFroster on the turntable, adjust it to the height of the cake, and hold it at the base. Do not push towards the cake (as you would do a bench scraper), hold it flat and tight at the base to avoid any wobbling (due to the blade being thinner). Place against the cake board and slowly start turning the turntable while keeping your hand steady. There will be a circular mark at the top of the cake which you will remedy with a quick swipe of an offset spatula. If there are any gaps in the frosting, apply more frosting and repeat until you have reached the desired look. Always remember that this is a new tool and as with any new tool has a learning curve, as to how to hold, how much frosting to apply, and how to get the perfect edge that you have always desired! After about 3 cakes you should be frosting like a machine!
